The popular Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise has continued this time with the third installment which will be released on November 1st, 2024, titled Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. This sequel to the recent Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 sees its cast members Karthik Aaryan once again act with Vidya Balan which is Manjulika in 2007 original. New voice actors in the film are Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri. The comedy, horror, and suspense elements are well retained by the film as expected from its franchise.
The premise’s driving force comes from an aged palace coupled with horror and occult features. True to the earlier sequels, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will have suspenseful twists complemented with comical scenes that will elaborate further on the historical background of the characters in the film.
This time, the shooting commenced in March 2024 with shooting locations within Mumbai and Kolkata. Although Director Anees Bazmee got injured in his leg during the course of the film, the film went on to be a success with the director directing the movie from a wheelchair during shooting. Mumbaikars can also look forward to an extravagant choreography which was filmed at Film City in Mumbai.
