The unsettling quiet of Peter’s room was shattered by a persistent tapping. Eight years old and with an active imagination, Peter strained to hear it better. The rhythmic tick-tock came from behind his Winnie the Pooh wallpaper, driving him crazy. His parents, Sarah (played by Lizzy Caplan) and Michael (played by Antony Starr), dismissed it as his overactive imagination. But Peter knew what he heard.

Peter was a curious child, but also a sensitive one. Sarah and Michael were a touch overprotective, ever since a childhood accident left Peter with a permanent limp. This over protectiveness fueled Peter’s suspicion. Why wouldn’t they believe him? Was there something truly sinister behind the wall?

As the tapping escalated, so did Peter’s fear. He confided in his babysitter, Maya (played by Cleopatra Coleman), a quirky college student with a passion for mysteries. Maya, unlike his parents, took Peter seriously. Together, they embarked on a secret investigation, whispering in hushed tones and peering through cracks in the wall.

The film, directed by Samuel Bodin, plays on the psychological horror of a child’s distrust. Is the tapping real, or a manifestation of Peter’s anxieties? The answer slowly unravels, but the journey there is filled with suspense, keeping you guessing until the very end.
