The movie #AAY was released on advance booking on August 16, 2024 is a Telugu romantic comedy directed by Anji K Maniputhra. The story revolves around the character of Karthik a software engineer played by Narne Nithiin who comes back to his village and marries his childhood sweetheart Pallavi essayed by Nayan Sarika. He loves Pallavi who opts to marry someone else and thus begins the hilarious yet serious treatment of love and caste.
The cast featured here also included Rajkumar Kasireddy who played Karthik’s friend Subbu and Ankith Koyya as Hari who provided comic relief. Performance of so-called hot support cast especially with comic relief has been appreciated in this film. It begins full of humor but it appears this second half encompassing majority of the controversy pacing was a problem for some of the viewers as it went a bit too much on the swaying pendulum repetitive level.
The background score and songs for the film were provided by Ram Miriyala and Ajay Arasada and they are in accordance with the films light theme. To summarize, #AAY is a complete joyful entertainer which deals with good social and cultural pressures as well as good friendship and love, too.
