Take Cover is an action thriller set to hit the big screen come October 4, 2024. It is directed by Nick McKinless while Scott Adkins stars in the film as Sam Lorde. Sam is a disgruntled professional sniper who at some point gets cornered inside an all-glass penthouse which happens to be very extravagant but has an arch-nemesis who is out to gun him down. Sam has no cover and a very limited choice of options when it comes to escaping. He must take out not just the sniper but also a bunch of goons who are armed and sent after him.
The movie is about a straightforward plot that will take you back to the good old days of ‘80s action movies as the emphasis is more on the fast-moving karate chops and suspense rather than character arcs. First, we see Adkin’s character get retired from his bloody work because the job went haywire. It should have been his final job but it turns into an ultimate bloodbath for anyone alive who tries to complete that particular job.
The story has an outstanding screenplay and includes great performances by Alice Eve, Madalina Bellariu Ion, and Jack Parr among others in the cast. Overall, the movie is predicted to have extreme action scenes blended with a little humor as well which will make it a good movie for the people who are fans of this particular genre.
