There are two primary movies of the South Park series:
- South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999): There is no second option here — this is the first of all, and probably the best kid’s friendly, fun-loving ‘son of a guns,’ South Park’s movie directed by Trey Parker (who, along with Matt Stone, was one of the creators of the series). Any other ‘no holds barred’ ie, adult madness, as far as the movie plot is concerned, is portrayed in a form of a musical. The feature film’s story deals with boys, i.e., Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny’s, parents anger after they watch an R rated movie made by Canadian filmmakers through power shaming the audience. Dildos, war, and any kind of protest are fitting in the endless boy swing musical passion, excellent cinematography, and successful storytelling of the movie. In the movie, a fictional version of the Canadian president tries to ban the film as the US military clashes with Canada in a war that the boys try to end. The movie has multiple classic songs like “Blame Canada” and became a massive hit. The boldness of the film became outstanding along with its musical instruments, the story, and the homour.
- South Park: The Pandemic Special (2020):
This is not a theatrical release but a TV special that was broadcast on Paramount Network in 2020 and was purposefully made for the tv series as a full length South Park movie that focuses on COVID-19 pandemics. The special addresses the problems of isolation, distance education and transformation of society as a consequence of the pandemic, which does not interfere with the main satirical essence of the series.
