The life of Brian Epstein, the famous Beatles manager and most perhaps the best transformation for the world’s greatest band, is the focus of the biographic film Midas Man. Directed by Joe Stephenson, who replaced many directors as the film took many years to make, the film tells the story of how Epstein began as an owner of a record shop in Liverpool and ended up managing The Beatles. It also touches upon his charm, cerebral deceptive abilities, and the harsh realities he had to contend with, such as being a gay man in a straight dominated world and the corresponding time period.
The rest of the cast consists of Jacob Fortune-Lloyd as Epstein, Omari Douglas, Jonah Lees, Eddie Marsan, and Emily Watson. Jay Leno is also in the film as a supporting cast. The film focuses on Epstein’s devotion with his artists and aspirations of conquering the American market and how he influenced American pop culture.
