Synopsis

Bollywood’s ‘Bagheera’, its Indian Kannada version, is directed by Dr. Suri and tells the story of the Indian cop Vedant Prabhakar. The cop becomes a vigilante and fights as Bagheera against all corruption and injustice. The hatred towards criminals and inner turmoil causes a lot of action and the man struggles with many aspects of life while still being vengeful. As he fights for justice against those around him, one must also work through layers of the mind in order to seek redemption.

“Bagheera” is a one of a kind film in the Karnataka Film Industry as it’s never been done before in that style which is about a superhero film. Sriimurali’s performance is quite interesting as he deals with his inner self for the creation of the character Bagheera. Action in the movie was pleasant to watch as it is intense and just well timed. Other cast members like Rukmini Vasanth and Prakash Raj are quite effective in taking the movie forward. The combination of themes regarding righteousness, morality, and the fight against corruption are relevant in today’s world, thus making the movie gains additional value to the superhero genre in India’s film industry.
