Death Streamer

Death Streamer (2024), by Charles Band, is quite a different vampire film for it allows the use of nay modern gadget in a vampire plot. The main character of the story is a very 21st century vampire who wears special high tech glasses that help him stalk and hunt the victims while also broadcasting his bloody violence over the Internet. He naturally increases the number of his fans that get hooked on the appetite of witnessing his bloody wallops. But when a three-men paranormal team becomes successful in helping a lot of people, the vampire retreats to attacking them.

The cinema is a part of one of the Fullism/Pulp Noir line indebted to that additional craving for more depth. Quite a mix of orange lite, blood, gore and suspense – blood has a rather curious hint in quite a few reviews – used sparingly yet most efficiently. The film also includes the disturbing relationship between violence, sensual puppetry.

Dated October 2024, it’s called as an 80’s slasher movie but with vampires in it. If you are into horror movies but more of a techie one, you may want to try this.
