Street Racer

The film Street Racer, directed by Teo Konuralp and released in 2008, tells the story of Johnny Wayne, a man who got in trouble when he took part in a street race in Los Angeles and how his life changed forever. Johnny goes to prison after the accident, which leaves one of the children crippled. Few years later, he is released from prison. This time he wants to change for good and manages to get volunteering work in a counseling center. There he meets the boy he accidentally hurt. But as the treatment for the boy gets more expensive, Johnny comes back to illegal street racing to make more money for the child’s rehabilitation than from legal and decent transactions.

This action drama is constructed around the themes of redemption, responsibility, and results of impertinence which is evident in a movie dubbed: Street Racer.
